Finding Your Purpose

How does a person find their purpose? Some people grow up knowing or conditioned to do something because of their environment. For example, if you live on a farm, you will most likely become a Farmer and you just may love it, because its familiar and what you know, but one day you may wake up and dislike or even hate, being a Farmer. You have realized its not your purpose and you want to do something else with your days. Farming doesn't give you life satisfaction. Its not your purpose. Let's take some action steps.

1st Step - Take the time to THINK. Think about what you want to do in your life. Think about what you would like to do when you wake up everyday. Think about activities you like to do. Think about actions that come to you naturally. Think about who you would like to see every day. Think about who you would like to work with every day. Think, think and then think a little more.

2nd Step - Feel. What do you love? Who do you love? What makes you happy? What activities are you doing when you feel the most satisfied, the happiest? What do you want to do when you wake up in the morning? What excites you? When do you feel the most appreciated? We are meant to live a happy, joyous and free life!

3rd Step - Do research on how you can combine what you want to do every day when you wake up, with what makes you feel the most excited, the most appreciated and the happiest. What careers are out there that match these thoughts and feelings? Once you find careers that may be a good fit for you, do you need special training or certifications? A college degree? Or is the career/life path not created. Do you need to create it through a business? Are you creating a service or a product?

Finding your purpose is not easy and it can be time consuming for most. For me, anything that I do, has to have the end goal of helping others. I think this should be the end goal for you too. Living a life of service through your purpose and passion is exciting. Living a life when you get up every day and are excited about what you are working to achieve is amazing. Most people do not live and work in their purpose.

Do yourself a huge favor, think about the statements and the questions mentioned here. Feel the feelings that will drive your thoughts into actions that you want to take every day! Find and live your purpose. That is the Sport Bully mindset.
